Since we started operations in late 2009, we have received good acceptance in the coal industry. With the recent commissioning of an AHS2448 horizontal vibrating screen at CCS Clutha Creek Quarry, Aury Australia has now entered the local quarry screening market.
The sand quarry is located at Tamborine Village, Queensland. Part of the Kennedy Group, the quarry is one of seven large sand plants and quarries the group owns in Southeast Queensland.
The AHS2448 is the largest screen in the plant and is located at the top of the plant tower.
A vertical manufacturer, we also supplied the Weide screening system panels, which were installed on the vibrating screen.
Part of the worldwide Dadi Group, we market Weide Screening Systems, a sister company.
According to Mr. Bob Finch, our managing director, “feedback from the customer is extremely positive, as the screen is exceeding expectations. The sand plant is a 24/7 operation, which requires high availability of the equipment, with very little requirement for maintenance.”
The AHS2448 has improved the screening of sand-allowing more throughput, better separation of material, while reducing load on plant crushers.
